The Southwest Broward Republican Organization (SWBRO) was formed in the summer of 1994, by active Republicans from Pembroke Pines, Davie, Cooper City, Miramar, Southwest Ranches and Weston. SWBRO received its first charter from the Republican Party of Florida on August 10, 1995. Since its creation SWBRO has been active in every election cycle, walking precincts, making phone calls, staffing election offices and helping raise funds for candidates.

SWBRO has become a focal point for candidates to visit, including several candidates to the US Senate, US Congress, Florida Governor, Florida Attorney General and Florida Agriculture Commissioner as well as many for local city and county offices (Pam Bondi, Mario Diaz-Balart, Dr Mark Green, Brian Mast, Adam Putnam, Jeanette Nunez, Jimmy Patronis, Mike Haridopolos, Ashley Moody, Matt Caldwell, Denise Grimsley, Mike McAllister, David Borrero, Blaise Ingoglia, Tom Fabricio, Ana Maria Rodriguez, Carlos Trujillo, Juan Porras, Carlos Reyes, Karen Harrington, Chrs Eddy, Mery Lopez DePalma, and many more!). We have been proud to support each of these candidates and we helped elect many. Other interesting speakers have included radio personalities, authors, local elected officials and appointed officials from various governmental agencies (Roger Stone, Dan Bongino, Erika Donalds, Jaime Florez, Frank DeVarona, Peter Ticktin, Peter Feaman, Sharon Day and many more!).

Meeting Schedule

SWBRO generally holds monthly evening meetings, 6:30pm networking with a 7:00pm meeting start, the 2nd Monday of each month at available local locations TBA
